Other Helpful Info

• Skaters are a friendly bunch!
• Sign-up area is at the trunk of our car, on grassy area to left, just before gate entrance to track
  (see “Parking on Grass” section of map)
• Need cash to pay for race
• You will get a number to pin on your shorts either left or right side depending on the direction we skate around the track
• Direction alternates each week
• Always look both ways when entering or crossing track
• We are “guests” of the bicycle racing promoter, so there will be lots of cyclist racers
• It is ok to warm up prior to paying and getting your number
• track opens at 5pm for warming up (some will skate around the track; some will skate inner staging area)
• After warm up must be ready at the start line at 5:45pm sharp
• The start line is just inside the gate to enter the track (see map)
• There is no child care (or dog care either, for that matter)
• Bring your own water
• Plumbed bathrooms and drinking fountains are in the inner staging area — one on east end, one sort of at the north/northwest portion — just ask around for help if you need it
• A port-a-potty is usually sitting just beneath the flag-waving perch
