In the après-skate session, this writer and Ed R were talking about the year’s wind history. Just for funsies, I looked back to see what was posted. [As mentioned before, I get the weather stats from The Oregonian, which I believe are taken at the airport.] Here are the mph’s from last night, back to 4/19.

Fairly consistent correlation twixt windspeed and lap times ya got there, Teddy. Not a huge difference but 15 seconds or so per lap between a 5 to 8 mph wind and a 13 to 15 mph wind. More than that and fun starts to turn into work.
